Looking for a good 2560x1600 monitor

So, who all own one of these things? I was looking to upgrade from a 1680x1050 (HP w2207) monitor to a 2560x1600 monitor.

Whats the most or least I can expect to pay? Any good brands or recommendations from owners? Also, has anybody gotten their hands on one of the "Cheap" korean panels?

I actually just bought one of those "cheap korean panels". They're 27", so 2560x1440 resolution. I got mine from Microcenter, so I didn't have to deal with shipping and possible defective panel. The monitor has no dead pixels, but has a slight yellow tint towards the bottom. After googeling, this seemed like a common problem to IPS panels, so I didn't bother to return it.

When it comes down to the price ($300-400 vs $1000), I would recommend going with the korean panels, unless you absolutely need a perfect panel.

Wow, they sell them at microcenter now? Cool.

I ordered mine on ebay and it is basically flawless. Only problems is that there is a lot of blacklight bleed, but is only noticeable during booting or an all-black loading screen.

Besides that, mine also displays a lot of colored lines if I turn it on too soon. If I wait like, 10 seconds after I turn on my computer, it doesn't happen. When it does, I just turn it on and then off. It works fine after that.

If you don't want to deal with that, I'd suggest a 24" 1920x1080 120hz monitor. I actually kind of wish I got that, since even my 670 can barely handle the insane resolution of 1440.
 
I also got mine from ebay, and I love mine. No dead pixels or back lighting that I can see at any time. If you do decide to get one definitely choose one with the brightness control options though, these things are REALLY bright. I have to turn flux on max at all times just for a comfortable browsing experience.

I haven't really had problems with FPS running full settings on sc2 and CSGO and I'm running a 6870.
