Looking for a good music making software

I make music myself and 100% no doubt about it go with REASON 3.0 ;) Its a little hard to get into b/c it can be confusing at times, but theres great support with online tutorials. You can check out some of my beats at www.myspace.com/johnnysousa if your interested =]

Sweet, I'm probably going to make some harder stuff. Maybe Basscore, and what not. If you know that kind of stuff. Where do you get your sound effects and all things of that nature?
