Looking for a headphone jack adapter for the lightning cable

I'm trying to find an adapter for the iPhone headphones that turn the lightning connector into a standard 3.5 headphone connector, basically what I want is an adapter with a female lightning port on one end & a male 3.5 headphone jack connector on the other this way I can use my iPhone earbuds with my new laptop. Does anyone make something like that? Searched Amazon but all I found were adapters that do the opposite of what I'm looking for.

I honestly don't know if it will work that way, but in theory it *should*. And if it doesn't, that item is only $11.
