Looking For a Laptop

Hey, I am going to be going off to college this summer and I am looking to buy a laptop. I am wondering what some good laptops are. I will be using it for alot of internet searching, typing, and gaming. My budget is around $900-$1100, but the cheaper the better.

I have been looking at websites and I noticed that HP has a deal that doubles the hard drive to 320GB for free, and i thought that would be nice.. Any thoughts?

Just choose some based on spec. Not brand.

Even HP and Compact is same company, but I recommend you to compact. Cool Spec

Is this a good laptop? Or is one of the ones mentioned earlier better?
