Looking for a little advice on building a computer (help me pick out parts!)

Ok so I want to build a computer. I built one back in 2005 and it has served me well but isn't keep up with anything I throw at it. Last time I bought from Newegg and I was very happy with the prices. I sort of compiled a list of what I want I was hoping to keep it under $1300 which I did, but I am completely out of the computer hardware loop and I really don't know what to pick out. I will be mostly using this rig for Gaming and Music recording so I really need a good processor that can multitask and handle what ever I throw at it. Here is what I have. Any suggestions or additions to this list would be most helpful.

Now i'm really iffy on everything I picked out. I'm not quite sure about the RAM, Video card, CPU or the power supply (although i'm pretty sure 750w is more than enough).

Let me know how I can improve this either price wise or hardware.

The mb is dual channel. 1600 is close or the same $.
650W plenty for 1 6950. 750W cuttin' it a bit close for crossfire.
SSD boot drive?

A 750W is more than enough for two 6950.Even a 650W PSU.One of the 6950 requires 182W at maximum load.

So for two 364W.

But I would go for a 750W.A little room is always better

?? Isn't that full load for video card? you need to know full load of whole system...

The recommended wattages on most manufacturer sites are for the whole system, so they can be safe when people load overrated crappy PSU's that die powering anything more than a lightbulb...
