Looking for a new laptop.

Hello, I am looking to buy a laptop mainly for browsing internet, watching movies, store data. Things that i would like to have in the laptop:
- HDMI
- Wi-Fi
- Optical drive
- Good resolution to watch movies on bigger screens
- Built-in camera
- 3 to 4 USB ports
- Audio and microphone input

My budget is no more than £500. If you have more than one suggestion, please include them all in this topic.

The only uncertainly is your requirement of audio & microphone input. But you can always buy usb headphone with mic.
 
Any laptop can facilitate those requirements.

You'd probably be well off to visit an electronics store to compare models in person.

The integrated screen resolution has nothing to do with the resolution when connecting to external screens :D
