Looking for a new power supply..

I have been in the market for a new power supply, something that will meet the demand of tomorrow and also to give my old one to my wife for her comp, the crappy dynex I scavenged from her old e-machine is not cutting it. It doesn't have to be antec, although I know they have a solid reputation and I have never been disappointed.

This is in my price range..

However, I would like to get the 850 quattro antec has out, another reason I like the quattro is because it is quite a bit smaller than other psu's that provide the same power, it is actually the same size as my neohe 500, but just longer.

Any other suggestions, 650 is a minimum.

Also, if anyone else is aware of a cheaper place to find the quattro, let me know. :-)

Thanks.

If I am going to spend that much I'll get the quattro, after MIR, it is 129.99. Also if I can, I would like to find the neopower 650 for 100.00.

Thank you for the suggestion.

With those prices, I'd have to recommend the Quattro. You'll lose a bit of efficiency by running it at loads that low, but it'll certainly last you longer in terms of providing sufficient power, and is the better quality as well.

Somebody give a link to this one awhile back, dual 20amp rails-38amps total, 550 watts, not to bad for a normal build for 55 bucks. Been thinking about getting one and put in one of my other computers and test it out. If it does good get about 4 for mid range builds

I'd rather get the rosewill 550w, and if you knew me a little you should know i really hate buying rosewill but if i had to choose from rosewill and epower i'd go rosewill lol

I would like to buy a x2900 in the future, so I figured upgrading would be necessary. I may just wait and buy both at the same time. I will probably wait 6 months or so, won't have much free time until than.
