Looking for a new victim.. err... case

Well.. I'm looking for a new case for my current pc.
I dont think it will stay in its original state, since i like to make a few modifications on it (merely to make it really something like a 'Personal' computer :) )
I had a look into these already.

Coolermaster stacker STC-T01 (silver)

that said.. wich case would you people suggest me? I like having a simple looking case,.. yet stylish. all those overdoing bling bling cases.. i cant be bothered with them :) a side window? well, it can be nice, not really nececairy tough

Dunno

From these three, I would go for the one on top. Nice and simple. Nothing more is needed :P

JAN :D

I would say the first one.

Lets say you wanted to cut a smiley face into the side. The plastic window on the middle case would shatter. The stacker STC is clean and simple, and wouldnt shatter.

The stacker T01 and mystique are better for home modding because they are fairly simple in design and don't have stuff that would get in the way if you want to cut into the sides and such.

I did some research.. and i found someone selling a chieftec Bigtower for 30 euro's (including 2 sidepanels, with windows)
This is the advertisement of that case

Is this a good case? Because i must admit, i really like the looks of it, also the colour is very nice. and it the case is good quality.. But im not excpecting too much for that price tough.. but since i think ill mod it a bit anyway.. maybe its not so bad to get a a bit cheaper case =)

I would go for the Coolermaster stacker STC-T01,

However that chieftec Bigtower for 30 euro's you seen for sale on the advertisement looks very nice,Especial with those side panels and there will be plenty of room inside which is always a good thing.

yes.. thats what i thought... i mean, the chieftec case is bloody cheap (I think) compared to the other ones.
also, its a pretty generic one, meaning i should be able to do some nice stuff with it (as far as im capable of doing that ofcourse :P )
However, i'd like to know if chieftec cases are good. ( good quality, if everything like mobo, PSU etc fits nicely etc.) I mean... even if its just 30 euro.. it would be a waste if the case is junk :) ( as for it beeing in used condition,.. i cant be bothered by that.. i mean,.. a few scrathers.. ill have those on a case meself soon enough i think.)

Well if that case does have a few scratches on it then just give it a new paint job:D

I would:D

but.. you would take the Chieftec over the mystique (100 euro), the stacker T01 (150 euro) and the stacker 830(210 euro)?

I would. I could not justify spending a rediculous amount of money on a case when there are core components inside which could have been upgraded with that money. I won't buy the cheapest, but right around 50-75 dollars for a decent case is where I look at it. I'd rather have my processor and graphics card at the next "level" (E6300 to E6400, or 7900GT to 7950GT) and/or another gig of ram or something like that, then bother with having a 200 dollar Lian Li case or something.

There both nice cases but that Chieftec looks a bargian for 30 Euros.

I you have the cash to spash then just go for the the stacker T01.

hmm... i think i'll go for the chieftec... i mean... 120euro is a nice pair of shoes after all... =]
edit: but im not sure if its a good case or not... i dont know the brand. :(

its ok, 30 euros, tahts like what, £22... but its a bad colour, i would spray it, do a gradient fade of black and DARK red. nice and purdy then.... i do love spray painting

oh and i prefer the T01, the first one, more modding capabilities on that one, but if your not into bling then work something out to mount a CCFL underneath it, leave it constantly on, in the dark it would look VERY nice, and it owuldnt overdo it either

But.. are the chieftec cases good quality? I mean.. even if its only 30 euro,.. i dont feel like wasting the money. anyhow.. if i get the chieftec case.. ill put my roster in the side again, and my lovely red cathodes :)

and.. you really think the colour is bad? i mean, not many people have it i can immagine :o
