Looking for a new victim.. err... case

Well yeh, chieftec are ok, like any other brand... nothing bad about them, and the colour is my opinion, it seems a "nothign" colour, the only good balck is ultra-gloss black with mirror finish, other than that its crap, all other colours are good except green, but all must be in high-gloss. lol, you can see why i re-spray most of mine.... and no, not a lot of people would have it, but really, no one is there to appreciate its a rare colour, so you should get one (or paint one) in the colour(s) that you like

Chieftec cases seem ok to me. They are kind of plain but I prefer that to the blinged up cases so many people have now. It's pretty hard to screw up a case too, usually the worst you have to deal with is low airflow. Sometimes you have the 'death by a thousand cuts' finishing on the inside where if you put your hands inside the case to install/remove hardware they come back with some nice tiny cuts that you don't notice until you wash your hands.
 
I think ill give the Chieftec case a shot then (not literairy ;) )
if the colour really doesnt look good,.. i can decide to spray it anyway :) (Hmm... maybe Pink gloss :o )
as for them beeing plain, i can only agree with you Cromewell,.. most cases just overdo it,.. thats why i like the plain ones better,. besides, you can always add thing's.. but removing things is harder :)

anyhow, thanks for the advice,.. i think ill have somethng to do this weekend :D

T-40

the T-40 has a funny star trek looking display in the front doo (wich histes the 5.25 bay's) and the Aero engine II has that jet intake in the front of the case ( yea... i know,, :rolleyes: but I do like planes very much :) )
what do you think of these?
the T-40 has the motherboard the wrong way around inserted tough.. so the heatsink of the grafic's cards would be on top etc. (I'm not sure weither thats good or bad)
 
well... i made my decission today, and now im a owner of a Black Aero Engine 2 =)

its pretty nice, good looking and robust.. the only downside i have now.. when i fired it up.. the fake fan in the fron ( the one you can see. ) is wobbely... so i will screw it off, and have to return it to the shop :(

but else... all temps dropped with 5*C... wich seems a lot to me
 
yeah i like the Black Aero Engine 2 aswell, the T-40 looks a bit like my washing machine. does the fan actually spin on the black aero engine 2?
 
the aero engine 2? it has one hell of ventolation ^^
the T-40.. its pretty ventilated.. the bottom front os a roster ;)
