Looking for a laptop, any recommendations?

I've narrowed my options to be a laptop with an i7 processor, around 15.6" display, above a 700GB HDD, at least 6GB of memory and between $800-$900; are there any recommendations?

I'm going need some information. What are you using PC for? Photoshop? Movie? Gaming? many different thing you would do with PC.
 
wow I feel sorry for your computer... anyway, I would recommend any thing besides HP and Dell, although brand doesn't have much to do with it. The specs you listed sound good for what you want to do with it. circuit City has good deals on computers like that sometimes, but you have to order it.
 
Built computer is better way and is cheap.

Motherboard ASUS, MSI, EVGA and GIGABYTE are great.

Patriot and G.Skill is great RAM.

You also need GTX 560 GTX or high to play gaming as well as you need PSU at least 500 watt at over 30 Amp. Thermaltake and corsair is great PSU.

Aviod any PNY video card and RAM at cost.

Newegg.com is great place to look for computer and is cheap.

HP and dell isn't better computer in my exprience.
 
I agree, if you were willing to build your computer that is always the better option. and that was what i said don't buy dell or HP if you don't want to build

I got link of lenovo that's cheap with GT 555 lol.
