Looking for a way to protect my new computer

though i'm annoyed I gotta get rid of my current antivirus say I don't like it can I redownload ZA and still have the same registration/license? do I have to right some numbers down?
 
You may say that AVG is not very good, but it's FREE, people. And better than avast.
I use AVG for almost an year and i didn't ever had trouble with updating.
 
I got both AVG free and pro

( wanted the network scanning features of pro)

both are very good. no problems updating.
