Looking for advice on a new computer

I want to buy a new desktop PC for gaming. I also want to buy a new monitor, keyboard, mouse & speakers that would be good for gaming too.

I'm willing to spend up to £1,000 (including the monitor etc).

I know someone's going to say to build one but I'm totally clueless as to what parts to buy/compatibility as well as what i need to make a good gaming computer. Then there's putting it together...

I can't say any games I'd want to it to run since I'm really only just going to start with PC games (usually i play on consoles). So anything that can play current/older games well.

I'm pretty much looking for recommendations down to the last detail.

I live in the UK so only recommend sites that deliver there.

What exactly are the differences between those monitors?

And you posted a site for a pre-made PC but posted links to parts too, are you suggesting i buy that PC if i'm not going to make one? (I could maybe get someone to put it together).
 
I suggest you build one yourself. It perform better than pre-build one.
That website with Pre-build is one of few website which details what exactly they components use. You may find other cheaper PC with similar spec, however, they usually not details what PSU.

monitor - Those I choose are 1920 x 1080; with DVI
BenQ one is LED blacklit
While LG and samsung both make good monitor

I'm thinking the processors too much and the graphic cards too low.

I was recommended to change the to AMD Phenom II X4 955 & a HD 5870.

I had a look on ebuyer but all the search options confuse me, any chance you could find these? And i'm guessing those wouldn't be compatible with the motherboard etc?

My orginal though for £800 would be Phenom II x4 955 + 5850 as 5870 would be slightly overbudget. However, you mentioned in the first post that you usually play games on consoles, and thus, I recommend core i7 860 + 5770 as it is a good mid-range video card.
