Hey hows it going guys,i'm trying to get some advice on upgrading my computer.

My current specs are as follows:

Windows 7 64-bit

AMD Athlon II X2 220 dual core processor

NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE Graphics Card

3GB DDR3 Memory

1TB Hard Drive

Keep in mind this is a 300 emachines from Wal-Mart that i didn't intend to play games with but of course now i would like too.I'm not rich so i cant just drop 1000$ and build a real computer so i would like to just upgrade this one.

So my real question is what should i upgrade first?

1. We need a model number.
2. you need a new power supply.A CX600 would do fine for the price.
3. get something like a HD6770 or GTX550ti and you will be fine. You will not be able to get a big card to fit.
4. With teh model number requested we can tell you what processors you can use.

I am not seeing anything on the upgradability of the processor in that model. your probably stuck where you are.

As for graphics, you can't do much as it is a micro machine. Most cards won't fit.

How much of a performance increase would i see with the aforementioned upgrades?

Also what do you mean be ''micro machine''?

its a little case. not quite itx, but smaller than ATX. that means that the graphics cards will be smaller, and your PSU will be about all you can use.

Its hard to tell, but you may be able to buy a cheap ATX case that will give you some upgrading room if you really want to upgrade it. Some factory computers have "special" motherboards that will only mount into their cases, but alot are just ATX and will fit in pretty much any other ATX case.

Its hard to say though without a picture of the motherboard.
