I have been searching the web for some cheap, small computers. The specs don't have to be great as it will not be used as a desktop but rather a server. Given that I'll be installing my own Linux OS, a non-preinstalled windows box is preferable to keep the cost down (I.E. Linux Os or No OS).
I found KPC [Here] about 3 months ago and I just didn't have the time to buy it. Back then it was $199, but since then it went up to $299. I'm basically attempting to turn a profit and a $300 box plus my "services" would be hard to sell. I know that the economy is bad, but does anyone know of similar products that may be cheaper. Again just looking for a server, so no need of anything more than an integrated graphics, sound, NIC, etc. Being able to order different HDD sizes and Memory would be nice. And optional 802.11b/g is ideal. Also attempting to avoid USED, but could deal with refurbished assuming I could consistently buy the same product.
Suggestions? I know the Asus makes towers, but I'm not sure if that's really taken off and I'm not sure if it fits my price range.
