Looking for good headphones.

I want to spend a little extra money on some good headphones that won't break. What really frustrates me is that whenever I buy headphones the wire snaps under the rubber covering either near where it plugs in, or up near where it connects to the actual headphones.

I don't want to spend a lot of money on something that is just going to break.

Are there any headphones out there where the wire connects to the headphone with an audio jack, so in case the wire snaps on the inside of just goes bad I can easily replace it?

I'm mostly going to use the headphones for music, but also for gaming, etc.

I live in Ecuador, so I'll have to ship them in unfortunately. However I'm going back up to the states for a month. I'll be in Washington state.

I would have suggested Amazon or Ebay, but if you're going to be in the states why not search up some hifi shops near where you will be? At this point you have more experience with the USA than I do.

My favorite headphones for music are the Audio Technica ATH-ANC7b Noise-Cancelling headphones.. There isn't a mic though..

For Gaming: I currently have Turtle Beach X12's but if you don't want a wire tangle, Astro A40's are great..
