Looking for Monitor Compatible with Dell PC

I have a Dell Dimension 2400 with 2.65 GHZ Pentium 4. I am looking to find a good used or refurbished 15" LCD monitor. How will I know what is compatible with my PC? Thanks in advance for any help.
 
I assume your Dell is using a VGA port to connect to the monitor, so look for a monitor with a VGA port. If the monitor has that you'll be fine.
