Looking For New Video Card $150 MAX

Hi everyone. Not too long ago I purchased a new desktop for many purposes. One of the main purposes is to play video games. It's a good rig, with a mediocre video card (at least in my opinion), but I need something better.

I'm looking to spend at most $100, but if it's really necessary I'm willing to bump up to $150. I'm not looking for top of the line, obviously, but I want something that can play most, if not all the games currently out. I'm not huge on graphics, but I want functionality. I don't mind if I need to play on lower settings. But I want to be able to play games like, Crysis, Call of Duty, Dead Island, on at least decent settings.

Is it possible? I'll post my specs right below here:

System: Gateway DX4300.

Operating System: Windows 7 Home-Premium. 64-Bit.

Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 810 Processor (4CPUs), ~2.6GHz

Memory: 8192 RAM.

Direct X 11.

The graphics card that is currently installed came with the computer, and is a:

ATI Radeon HD 3200.

Says Approx Total Memory is 3065MB? Not sure if that's accurate or not, seems high for a graphics card of this stature.

Okay, sorry for long post. So my recommended maximum budget is $100, but if it's completely necessary, $150. Hope for some advice.

I was afraid I'd need a new power supply. Is that card you linked me a good one? Can you give me an example of what sort of game, and setting I'd be able to handle with that card, on this system?

you could play any game at all easily, but from game to game you'll get different setings and all, what res will you want to play at, what can your monitor handle.

I had a gateway DX4200 and ran a TX550w Corsair PSU with a sparkle 1 GB GTS250. Both of which I have for sale now. And for far under $150 total together.

i think he was asking 30 and 40 + shipping or best offer, that's a pretty good deal and if you can go 160 70 bucks shouldn't be a problem for those, and that's about an 80 buck gpu and a 70-80 buck psu, probably 30 off in rebates would be normal, so you're saving ~50 from the rebated price that you might not get. and if you don't get them i might be getting a build for christmas and i might just show those to my dad kennebell
