Can anyone help me find a computer chair that is extremely comfortable, flexible, with good back support?

I'm looking for something to buy either online or in store. Price range up to $1000.

heehe........i read it again just to make sure. I spent about $350 for a high back and works fine. i wanted 5 legs and comfort. I suggest you hit the office stores and try them out. pick one ya like. you can always get the manufacture and model and buy it. Though i don't think you will like buying on line because of shipping cost. weight and size.
office max or office depot works fine.

i have a friend that did a car seat. his kid is a gamer. took the seat off another office chair and mounted a small bucket seat from a old nova supersport.
Somebody posted a site for chairs once before. it was for gamers though.

For the average office swivel chair that you can raise or lower simply look in different office supply stores like Staples, OfficMax, etc. for what they carry for far less then $1,000. These stores also carry cushions with a securing strap where you can slide onto both bottom and back of most swivel chairs to almost see a recliner.

The pads use a form of "memory foam" that retains and returns to it's original shape once you get up out of the chair even after repeated daily use. Any large recliner is out if you sit right at a desk since you have to sit up straight.

For cordless keyboards and mice you can park in any living room sofa or recliner if you have web tv access there. With a lower back problem I simply went for a chair seeing the more universal body molding and added a pair of memory foam pads for support and comfort when sitting for any lengthy periods of time!

"ooooo my achy breaky back!" :P

The present chair here ran about $80-. The other $920 I could easily put towards the next build. Then I would have something to look at for that amount being spent.

Picking out the "right chair"? That's the real challenge there. You can browse the stores as well as look at a variety online before finding just the right one.

The stores for something like this are far easier since they are right there where you can sit down in each and still spend far less by adding pads. They run about $40- retail each seeing about $160- for comfort over $1,000!

Honestly, i think you can get something decent for $200.00 .
I goto Home Depot often enough and always goto to Office Depot to see whats on sale. Im in the market now for my wife. Told her i will visit and when i see it, i will get it. Gotta love home Depot though. 6:00 in the morning and whats on sale before going into work. the pro's come in early and looking at bathtubs, or oak flooring and 2/3s off. they snatch it up. the deals are there but ya gotta be there 1st.

One idea would be to shop around a little to take a look at any discounts as well as the various styles of chairs and going to the store's web site as well. Often you can find items there not stocked and see free shipping.

For a $200 tag you could get a full backed recliner style swivel chair with arm rests. But take a look at the heighth and how you position yourself before leaping on anything. You don't want to be sitting too low or slumped over when going to sit for long periods of time.
