looking for THX soundcard

im looking for a thx cert. sound card for my lappy i dont have pcmcia it is some new express slot so if there is a external sound card out there that has it let me know !!


any help would be nice thanks

Creative has an X-Fi sound card device known as the X-Mod, which connects via USB.

so this has THX ? and i will be able to hook up my 5.1 speakers to it ??

Well im not sure if it's THX certified like the rest of the X-Fi line, but it should work well for being a USB sound card.

Also a note, USB Sound cards dont sound very good compared to PCI/PCMCIA sound cards

well i dont have a pcmcia slot dell says that this is the "newer" slot for lappys yet i cant get a sound card for the slot ?!?!? DELL SUCKS well the lappy is good just there a bunch of morons that work there !!!!
