Looking for ultrabook / decent laptop

Hey guys,

I've been so busy lately, that I cannot use my desktop often enough. Sadly, I'm selling it online, and going to buy a laptop or an ultrabook.

Any specific brand that you guys would recommend? I am looking for at least 15 inches + good battery life. To have SSD would be a bonus.

EDIT: Located in Toronto, Canada. My budget would be anywhere between $800 to $1300 CDN.

Amm I should have make it clearer...
For ultrabook, there would be more option on 13 - 14"
While for laptop, 15.6" is more popular.

What is your main use of the laptop?

Just to view documents / video streaming / occasional video gaming... :)
 
I would say a Dell XPS, I have played on some of the other ultra book and they feel really cheap to me. This one felt well built.

Thanks for the suggestion but I'll pass on Dell.

My sister has a Samsung Series 9, and looks very nice. If I could come up with some good recommendations between brands like Samsung, Acer, ASUS, Lenovo, Sony, etc...

I don't blame you. I personally fell in love with the Asus ZENBOOK line. They are 13.3" and there is also a 15.6" model. You can get them with or without SSD as the primary drives but they all have some form of SSD.
