Looking for video card

I will be doing a little of everything on my computer, and i was looking at getting a video card (just ordered computer parts but didn't get a video card because i was unsure which one)

I like the idea of the Radeon X800 powercolor because its 256mb, but the 6600GT is a little faster and i have heard many good things about it. What would you reccomend?

more memory doesnt mean squat.... 128 is good enough for anything

Well, its ur call, either one, they preduce similar results in most tests, just matters what games you play, or if you'd prefure one brand over the other.
I'm going with the X800GT for my build becuase i don't have an ATI and i want to see what it can do, plus its suppose to have an awesome overclocking potential.
