Looking for Vista or Windows 7 image

Hello,

I have two computers that I'd like to completely wipe. One runs Windows Vista, the other Windows 7. Both these OS's require an original CD to do a full wipe. Are there any Vista or Windows 7 image files I can download for free? And if so, how would I use them to wipe the OS's? Can I put them on USB and have the computers reinstall from that?

Win 7 from MS. I wouldn't get it anywhere else.

Vista is likely harder to find since you can't get it thru Microsoft directly. The ISO itself isn't illegal to download (I think) as the license is what you're paying for. Make sure you get the same version as the key you have. Haven't tried this myself but saw a few places mentioning this as a legit ISO. Be careful here and use at your own risk but it's probably safe. I'd use an Adblocker on that page and scan it before using it.

You can burn the ISO's to a flash drive. I personally use Rufus, easiest program I've found for that purpose

You will need your Windows 7 product for that MS download. I hope the little blue label that should be somewhere on your computer is still legible. Mine isn't, luckily I bought my copy from the Microsoft store and I kept the email.
