YO everyone im on the hunt to find a 80 pin eide cable(just the cable) if anyone knows any sites or anything id appreciate it thanks!
 
hmm... could you tell me what it is connecting to, then i might have a better chance to find one.

Pardon my ignorance, but arn't they used to connect HD or CD or DVD player/ writers?
 
um, i think your getting confussed, and you need to replace that currently in your xbox 40pin 40wire, with a 40pin 80 wire one, as far as i no there are no 80 pin ones, you want a 80 wire on though.

the one on the left is a 40-pin IDE cable

the one in the middle is an 80-pin IDE cable

the one on the right......doesnt matter :P
 
40-pin IDE cable is standard in every Xbox......the reason Microsoft did this was to save money.....10 cents per xbox saved by not upgrading to the 80-pin cable x 1 million+ units = over 10 million dollars + saved :cool:
 
lol i dont know what you guys are talking about just buy and 80-pin IDE cable and put it in your xbox.....period :P
