I want to build a computer just because I heard its the cheapest way to get a gaming computer. I found this ad that has about the range that I am looking for. How do you think the price is for that computer? I've been picking parts for my computer and the ad looks about the same price as if I built it myself.

Ok, try here www.ibuypower.com they have a 3000+ 64 for $579 w/ 160gig hdd, 9550 256mb video card, 512 ddr400 , 600watt speakers , NF3 mobo , cdrw and dvd-rom

this is a pretty sweet one i made, for another 200 u could add a 6800gt or get a 3500

Yeah the price would probably be about the same if you built it yerself but you'd get better parts
1. Mobo isnt fantastic
2. Optical drives arent fantastic
3. What's the PSU?
