Looking to build my first comp. How are these specs?

A friend of mine gave me some specs for a first build. I want to use it for gaming, COD BO4 and nothing much else that needs any special components. I want to spend around 2,000-2,500.
Ryzen 2700x
Asus Prime 470
16gb DDR4 Corsair Vengence
Corsair RMI 750
Samsung 970 EVO 500gb
Western Digital 1Tb
RTX 2080
1440p 2K @ 144Hrtz

I wouldn't get the RTX 2080, personally, I'd go for the 1080ti instead. But if you want ray tracing then go with the RTX card, however there are currently no games that support it's ray tracing technology so it's actual performance is unknown.

Everything else seems pretty good.

To be honest, that PC is quite overboard. I can assure you though, it'll last you a good sum of time. :D
