So my brother has decided to build a shuttle PC, for the purposes of being more convienent carrying it around. Not like a laptop, but it will be moved around from time to time, and saving space is a big factor for him, and he's left me to spec out the whole thing. I've never built a shuttle before, and Im stuck about a few things.
He wants his computer to be as much bang for the buck as he can get for 800$, he's using it for gaming.
I looked up all the top end PCI Video Cards since Shuttles can only use PCI ones, and they all require 350W min. powersupplies..... the only shuttles i could find came with 250W. Also, they all seemed to only take 184pin RAM, and I couldnt find a single 512x2 ram combo with 184pin. How do I work around all of this?
This makes me wonder why people dont build shuttles that often, whats the hidden secret about them that keeps them from being popular?
