basically i'll list what parts im thinking of getting, opinions and suggestions are more than welcome, my budget is around about £700 ($1100), my main aim with this computer is to play high quality games while spending a modest amount,

Inno3D GTX 460 768MB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDMI Out PCI-E Graphics Card With H.A.W.X. 2 Game Voucher

Asus P7P55 LX P55 Socket 1156 8 Channel Audio Out ATX Motherboard

Intel Core i5 750 2.66GHz Socket LGA1156 8MB L3 Cache Retail Boxed Processor

Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz/PC3-12800 XMS3 Dominator Memory CL9 (9-9-9-24)

Western Digital WD10EARS 1TB Hard Drive SATAII 5400rpm 64MB Cache - OEM Caviar Green

Coolermaster GX 650W PSU - 6x SATA 2x PCI-E 80plus Certified

Coolermaster Elite 335 Case - No PSU

Samsung SH-B083L 8x BD-ROM with DVD±RW DL SATA Blu-Ray Drive - Retail Box Black

im debating whether to go for the i5 or the i7 so unsure about that,

all advice is appreciated

cpu - could spend slight more for core i5 760

case - recommend a bottom mounted psu. could consider elite 370

PSU - 650w not enough for sli, single card don't need 650w. you can go for cheaper psu, also cooler master psu is not in high quality...
Are you buying from ebuyer? consair 650w tx is on sale

hdd - 5400rpm is too slow, get 7200rpm

Video card - could also consider 6850 1gb

Get a cheaper GTX460 768MB instead, such as this one
CPU - better to get i5-760
I'd stay away from CM GXs in general, i've read some pretty bad reviews, 650W is Overkill but it'll leave room for future upgrades, for a really high quality unit, check out this. If you want more watts then check out this. That dominator is barely any different from their standard XMS3, get that instead
With all the money saved, you could get a GTX460 1GB or HD6850 instead.

^ That guide fits into your budget nicely, though P55M-UD2 is hard to find now, stick with the mobo you chose, and get aftermarket cooler if overclocking.
Get 7200rpm HDD, SpinPoint F3 is Good as any

Everything looks good. One little nitpick: See if you can find a 1600mhz kit with CAS8 timings, it will make the system a bit more snappier :)

so ive revised the list again hah

Intel i5 760 2.8GHz Socket 1156 8MB L3 Cache Retail Boxed Processor

Gigabyte GTX 460 OC 1GB GDDR5 OC Edition Dual DVI HDMI PCI-E Graphics Card

Corsair 4GB DDR3 1600mhz Vengeance Memory Module CL9 1.5V Non-ECC Unbuffered

Samsung HD103SJ Spinpoint F3 1TB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm 32MB Cache

Asus P7H55-M LX H55 Socket 1156 DVI VGA Out 8 Channel Audio MATX Motherboard

Corsair 500W CX PSU - 5x SATA 2x PCI-Express

Casecom 6788 Black Mid Tower Case with Full Black Interior/Exterior 120mm Blue LED Front Fan - No PSU

the price of this comes to £583 which is very reasonable, in about 6-7 months i plan to upgrade my monitor to a 3d enabled one and buy the nvidia 3d set, i know that the graphics card and the processor i have chosen is up to the job but is there anything else which i should change?
