I'm looking to buy a Laptop mainly for Gameing. I play a lot of games and go to Lan partys offten. I am also going to college so I could use it for that too. I need the Laptop to run games like World of Warcraft, Battle Field.. ect.. My budget is around $1,500.

I'v looked all around but don't have a clue what would be good or not. Any help would be very apprecited!

-Thanks

i bet anything around your budget could be considered a "gaming laptop". when i got mine i had a £1,200 budget and ended up getting a Fujitsu-siemens (see sig) and i have just fried the graphics card :(

i have heard some people say that alienware are a bit overpriced, but its worth a look....

I would just go to a local computer store and get informed there it might cost a little bit more but you also get a load of service with it.

Especially for laptops wich have the annoying habit of going broken more often.

If you really want to buy the best gaming laptop available for the money you need to go look with asus ive always found they made better notebooks.

I think you should wait until ATI and NVIDIA starts making DirectX10 GPUs for laptops b/c your going to need a pretty good graphics card to run Windows Vista once that comes out. In fact I made up my mind about purchasing a laptop in a few months, I plan on waiting until Conroe, Merom, and Windows Vista comes out. Just save up lotta money and in the end your patience will pay off.
