Looking to buy first laptop.

I am looking to buy my first laptop. I am looking at something that is made for gaming but yet also good for college work (Microsoft word and internet classes). I am not looking for a computer that will play the most amazing looking games, but can still play a good selection of some of the more recent games.

I am looking at a Asus with Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor at Best Buy. Visit the site for the specs:

I am also looking at base model of the new Alienware M11x from Dell. Visit the site for the specs:

http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&oc=DKCWMN1&s=dhs

Again, just looking for something to play some of the good games, not the ultimate graphical games.

Thanks.

Asus

Asus has many great reviews and it plays the top notch games.

M11x does not come with a cd/dvd drive and many people are saying it should be upgraded.

I think i will get Asus.

ASUS is a much better choice. Alienware is overpriced plastic with lights.

based on that comparison I would go for asus!
I am reading good reviews about asus but never know anybody owning it :(
