Looking to get a new 775 socket

Hi all.
I'm looking to get a 775 socket motherboard that has a PCIe 16x slot and uses PC3200 RAM. Problem is, I cannot find one that says it supports Pentium D (I'm upgrading to the Intel Pentium D 940 3.2 ghz Dual Core processor).

Would this motherboard support that cpu even though it does not say it supports Pentium Ds'?
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2274650&CatId=1533

Reason I want to keep my PC3200 and need a PCIe 16x slot is because i would hate to have to get rid of my 2 gig's of PC3200 I have in my current machine and I need the PCIe 16x slot for an GeForce 8600 or 8800. My current mother board can support the Pentium D but only has an AGP 8x slot (and thats the same setup i keep finding online unfortunately).

Sorry if I've worded this in a way that makes it difficult to understand, it's 2 40 in the morning and I'm getting tired. Any help at all would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

nope!

No that wouldnt, because it doesnt support dual-cores. If you want to use DDR and PCI-E, then check out this motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157107

Just out of curiosity, why are you getting a Pentium D, and not a Core 2 Duo?

The Pentium D I'm getting is only 100 dollars, where as the core 2 duos are much more expensive and less powerful. I've read some really good reviews for the 940 3.2ghz PD Dual Core so I've decided to go with it.

And to bluedishwater. The 8600GT isnt expensive at all which is why I chose that. If I had the money I wouldnt be worrying about keeping my RAM and I would get an 8800 of some sort haha.

Thanks for all the help, i'll check out that site.

Edit: That motherboard was looking good but the PCIe 16x was actually a 4x :/

ohh wait.. you cant use DDR2 either.. ewww.. still good deal

He can but at the same time he can't ( he would never have over 2 gb ram which is the max on most motherboards and it would be limited to like DDr2 533 or 667 at best)

Edit: That motherboard was looking good but the PCIe 16x was actually a 4x :/
The slot is x16, the 4 is the normal pci slots <_<
