Looking to upgrade a little

At the moment i have the rig in my sig (hey that rhymes :P).

I'm looking to spend between £150 and £175 on a new graphics card and a motherboard, seen as mine is only AGP.

I've been looking at:

This Gigabyte GA-MA69VM-S2

On the gpu side i've been looking at the 3850's, but would i see a great deal of improvement from the X1950 i have now?

Also i was wondering weather it would be better to get the new 8800GTS, but i'm not sure weather i would need to get a new psu if i get that card.

Any other recommendations are welcome, thanks.;)

EDIT - How much do you think i could get for my Asrock AM2NF3 VSTA and Gecube X1950XT 256MB GDDR3? Thanks.
 
Get a AM2+ Motherboard in case you want to upgrade your CPU in future.

GPU question. Check it out here

HD3850 256MB starting at £100. 8800GTS 512MB is over £200. can't be compared.

I never said they could, i just wondered weather i would need a new psu if i did.;)
 
I may be alright, looks like that list says my X1950 draws more power than a 3850 or an 8800gts! :)
