Looking to upgrade! need help!

Hey guys, new here! I am looking to upgrade my PC so that I can play games at a good FPS, 60 preferred, while streaming at times.

I'll give my current build as best I can:
Processor: 3.20 gigahertz AMD Athlon II X2 260
Motherboard: BIOSTAR Group A770E3
Bus Clock: 200 megahertz
BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. 080014 04/21/2010
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti.

I have a SSD drive and a good monitor, but I feel those things are the important ones, I have 16 GB of RAM that are DDR3.

I was looking into getting an I5 with a new intel motherboard, but my friend suggested this site.

I don't want to fork out over 400 dollars preferred. But I'd love to play and stream League of legends at full settings with strong FPS (I can't play with poor fps at my level) and play SC2 (max settings) with no hiccups (not streaming SC2 I don't think).

Any suggestions? throw anything at me, have any questions let me know! thanks!

AMD processor is cheap and good for playing 3D game, but it is not good for processing video (conversion or compression ) . intel is better. I think i5-2500K is a good choice. good for overclocking. I don't suggest to use ATI video card. 2 points, 1. high temperature, 2. errors in running. I think those errors are from the driver. N video card is fine, but it is more expensive than ATI.

i5-2500K $219
MSI H61M-E33/W8 LGA 1155 Intel H61 Micro ATX with UEFI BIOS $52
I have this one and MSI Z77. Z77 has 300 points more than H61 in 3Dmark. I think H61 is value.
EVGA 02G-P4-3651-KR GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB after rebate $159.....

16G memory is not necessary, 8G is enough. sell it. get more money for changing the GTX650ti to GTX660.

intel always a good choiche, but for streaming amd will be better.
and for my the amd cards are better i think, most of the time the are cooler then nvidia.
