FINALLY!!!!! Playing it now. I can post some screens for those of you without rigs awzum enough to run it :P

Uhh... how do I take pics with fraps?

Wow... its hard... and I only get 20 fps with MY rig. I'm stuck at the part with the big gun.

I think there may be no way to beat it... Just a tech showcase with no point.. arggg

This is the most dissapointment i have ever gotten in a game before :( .

It actully doesn't take a good rig to play, jsut a good rig to play with HDR and higher then low settings, on one of my comps it didn;t allow HDR to enable even and it seemed just like HL but my other copm it allowed it, but i stil had to put it on low, but i relaly dont think it matters to me how great the graphics is and stuff in this game, becuse the game itself was just so disapointing.

Personaly, I think this is a great tech showcase, but thats all it is, a tech showcase...

There is one major bug though, and that is that when you reload from a save point all the previously dead enemies are frozen in a scare crow position.

its way to short :( it took me 15 minutes to complete it. while it took me 25 to download and install it. tough.. it looks great
cant wait for Half-Life 2: Aftermath to be released. ( will be very soon according to gamespy.. :D

Any rig that can run HL2 should be able to run Lost Coast, but then it might have to be without HDR enabled.
 
what the? It only takes 15 mins on Half life lost coast. WoW how gay is that. I'm almost finish with doom 3. Its the same storyline I think, but Doom is lot scarier than hl2. Well come to think of it I thought you have to buy it seperatly but it appear it came with hl2. lol
 
Holy sh*t, system req's for Lost Coast are-

2.2 GHz CPU (I have a 1.8 GHz Athlon 64 3000+, but I think it'll work just fine)
1 GB of RAM
Radeon X800 or better (but its really just a Direct X 9.0c video card)
 
First take a look at your system- blows mine out... mine never went above like 35 FPS..

But, here are some screens I took (note the especially bad FPS)




 
Heh heh another bug.... If you move to quickly at the start then you dont have time to get into your suit lol... I was wondering what was happening to my HUD lol :P

 
I wonder why Half Life 2 with HDR runs so slow. Serious Sam II with HDR on runs just great. I'm downloading it now and will be trying it for myself very soon.
