Lost! Recycle Bin

Could someone please tell me how to get my recycle bin back on my desktop? Some one was using my computer and deleted the icon, instead of empting the bin!

Any assistance is appreciated

Right click on Start>Explore. Then Scroll down and open Recycle Bin. Click File>Create Shortcut.

btw im using vista


if i creat a shortcut of the recycle bin, then it has that stupid arrow on it, and it doesnt empty when i empty it.

you can add and take away the bin using tweakui from microsoft, but i dont know if there is one for vista.

Ohhhhh, yeah with vista you can delete the recycle bin, i dunno why but you can. right click on your desktop, go to personalize and on the left under tasks go to change desktop icons and recheck the recycle bin icon.

No problem, i spent a couple days playing with vista to get a feel for it lol, i have a pretty good understanding of it now, but still finding new things every once in a while. How do you like that chess game?
