i have a HD in my 240 that you can very very lightly hear loading, but the motors loud, is there a way 2 make it quiter? take it apart and do something in there? or what?
 
It's not a good idea to try doing something inside the HD.Maybe you could use some kind of silencer.There are many available,like this.
 
i made my HD alot quiter lol, if anybody wants 2 know, ask, i just dont want 2embarrass myslef if no1 asks hahaa..
 
nope, actually i stuck it in a ziplock bag, zipped the HD inside the bag, then cut a little area 4 the IDE cord, and power cord lmao, believe it or not the HD is silenter than anything :cool: ..
 
lol, i dont think they were, it's ok, i have another drive 2 put in it anyway ahaha, just gonna lose all my stuff lol..
