I built this PC in 2004, and havnt done much to is as in download things, and mess around with it(used other computer for that). I mainly used this for gaming. But I tried the new 3DMark06, and got a score of 868!

Maybe its just my computer is too old but I think its somthing else. I made sure my video card driver is up to date, and ran alot of cleaners but it still doesnt perform on the test.

Any idea why?

Here are my specs:
Mother Board: ASUS P4C800 DELUXE-UAY 478 Intel 875P ATX Intel
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 1022MB RAM
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6800 128.0 MB
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

Thanks for the help.

You mean you have an P4 3GHz with Hyperthreading...

Let see:

Processor - SERIOUSLY outdated... Literally

Motherboard - 478 was down the drain when the Core 2 Duo's came out

Memory - DDR? DDR2 and DDR3 are already out! And if it's DDR333 or even DDR266...

Video Card - 6200? Out of date years ago. Consider upgrading badly.

O/S - XP Pro, Home, or 2k?

^^^^^^ That's why the score is so low. consider an new computer. Budget please?

Thanks, just glad to know its out dated then messing up.

I already ordered a laptop
Inspiron 1520, Intel Core 2 Duo T7500, 2.2GHz, 800Mhz, 4M L2 Cache
2GB, DDR2, 667MHz 2 Dimm
56MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT
120G 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
Vista Basic, (wish I had XP)

Once im out of college I'll build a new desktop. Thanks again for the help.
