low end 8xxx series

The 8300 doesnt have 24 pipes, it has 24 shaders (vs 128 with the GTX), and only has a 128-Bit memory bus.

Regardless of 7xxx series price drops if the 8xxx series do retail for that you would be silly to not get one with DX10 here to stay.
