low quality in 1080p movies

Hi ! Here's a question for you: is it normal for 1080p movies to have all sorts of noise and artifacts while playing ? Because this is what i'm experiencing with all of them, including 720p's. I'm posting a print screen from "Iron man 2", at minute 01:48. Please ignore the "Preferences" menu that appears :)
See how the hole image looks like rubbish ? And this is a pretty nice example, other times it's worse. Do you experience the same problem as me ?

this is the printscreen(don't worry, the archive only contains the BMP image - saved like this for lossless compression): http://dl.transfer.ro/transfer_ro-08mar-944940bcd1.zip

Why don't you attach the pics or use photobucket.
A lot of people like me who don't know you are unlikely to open your file.

I am using KMplayer to view it, i've tried with CoreAVC filter, but it has the same results as with KMplayer internal codecs, even with the quality settings set to higher. The file is from a torrent download, named "Iron Man 2 1080p BluRay DTS x264 NLsub", it's a .MKV, here is the video info:

I'm not asking you to comment on the torrent, neither am i asking you to comment on the movie or video that i gave as an example.
What i'm looking for is an explanation or a fix for the bad quality of a 1080p video playback on my computer. Maybe it's a hardware problem, maybe a codec, a video renderer...i don't know, but i'm asking other people, maybe someone experiences the same issue i have, or someone has ideas as to how could i fix this ?

What is the resolution of your monitor? If you are trying to stretch 1080p content across a monitor with a natively higher resolution, you will be introducing noise.

i have a 24" Dell, with 1920x1200 resolution. It's exactly as wide as the movie, and the movie is not stretched vertically, so...that i don't think it's the problem

Where did you get the files that you are trying to play? Are you 100% sure of their integrity?

If you don't have a dedicated video card or intel hd3000 video chip you might run into problem to decode true 1080p blueray rip files.
Cheers.

Spesh, you are right, i'm not sure about the integrity of the video, but as i'm using an outdated CPU, i searched for a video player that uses the GPU acceleration for handling 1080p with H.264, and i found Splash Player Pro that does exactly that, using GPU resources and leaving the CPU with a small load of 3-5%. With this player the video playback quality increased very much, but it lacks the configurability of KMPlayer and its audio/video internal decoders and filters(for example KMPlayer can emphasize voice vs. loud crashes and action sounds in a movie, or has a dynamic volume control, which Splash Player Pro does not have). It's still not perfect, but makes me happy :)
Thanks for the help, and for other people with the same problem i recommend this option, or a CPU upgrade
