Lower 3Dmark rating with new system :<

My old PC was a E6750 with a 8800GT-512 and I was doing about middle 12 thousands, and now I have a E8500, new P5Q mobo and HD4850 video card and I only rate 11,9xx. Note that the old machine had XP and the new one has Vista. Are these number making sense considering the hardware and OS ?
 
Vista does take some of the score, so that sounds about right.

Latest drivers and such?

You're only talking about 500 point difference, right?
