MAC Address has been set to Zeros (0)

So I had my Compaq notebook looked at by some ITS people here on campus and they said the reason I couldn't hook to their network was because my MAC Address or physical address had been reset to all zeros. I can still hook up with wireless to networks and to regular networks though, just not my campus network. How can I fix this problem and get my notebook's assigned MAC address back?

thats strange. now im curious. if ya goto the dos prompt and type ipconf/all do you see a physical address? that is your mac.

when i do that, it shows the physical address....as all zeros

better figure out the problem, but you can spoof (via software) one in the mean time to have access.
