Mac book Air or Samsung series 5

So my lappy just died out, thing lasted for 6 years:good:
Off to get a new one for college, Im looking at these two laptops...

Apple macbook air, I'd have to get it used, probably get the 2010 version, for around 500-650 bucks.
Or the samsung series 5, Newer, more powerful, windows:good::good::good: nice deisgn, on sale!

I would personally get the samsung, I bought a Macbook pro last year running Mountain Lion and my user experience was less then good. To me I felt like the OS was just to bulky and cluttered and with Mr. Jobs gone I would not expect it to get any better for apple.

Samsung makes some of the most high end electronics so you know build quality is on par with apple but in my opinion as much as it pains me to say this M$ builds a better OS as far as user is concerned, not security though.
