Hey my older brother is right into his music and was wondering what Mac specs would be recommended for a cheap(ish), good quality computer that could run good quality synthing/recording software such as Logic Pro. ive unsuccessfully tried to convert him to PC, as i dont know much about mac hardware. any ideas??

well i wish i had a mac for my music production too. but yea, programs are prob. 50 plus. for music, i tink u should go with mac. i mean, they have more programs that do more. for music.. u dont need to go all out. just get like a g3 er somin. that should be enough.

o, so ur gonna want more up to date stuff? thats gonna be pricey. tell me, how advanced is the music production? beat makin, instrument recordings... etc?

Anything G4 class or better really. There's not a world of customization you can do with Macs....

Do you want the politically correct answer? ;)
