Mac Mini with World of Warcraft

Sorry if this is the wrong section for this thread. But, for anyone who uses the Mac Mini, how well does it run World of Warcraft? My laptop is fried and I know the Mac Mini is a nice little machine and has the other programs I am looking for. Does it run smooth or does WoW skip and lag a lot on the Mac Mini? I plan on buying this soon if it can play it well.

It will run it fine, I played wow many years ago on a:
Dell inspiron b130
1.6 Ghz celeron cpu
512 MB ram
intel XGMA 950 graphics card.

Plus OSX doesn't use that much system resources.

idk about grier, but on my desktop when i was running x1600 gpu, i got super lower framerate in dalaran, not to mention raids, and even just instances. so you will have to turn settings super low, and it be playable

As long as I can walk without lagging or skipping and continue to do ICC I will be a happy camper.

Which is basically a laptop GPU, not really designed for gaming, as I said you will probably have to turn the settings down

Na. I play world of warcraft on my macbook pro. Highest settings on 1280x800 plus i have the older 9400m macbook pro and the 320m is twice as fast.:D

WOW doesn't have that high of system requirments at all, I have a buudy that plays it on medium setting with a intel gma 4500, that is a pretty crappy gpu. I could be wrong but I think I have heard of people running it on netbooks.

Here is the gpu requirment
Recommended: 3D graphics processor with Vertex and Pixel Shader capability with 128 MB VRAM Such as an ATI Radeon X1600 or NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT class card or better

I hear you. I play WoW on both of my systems. My desktop get like 60+ fps with everything on high pretty much always. My laptop does just fine too as long as i keep it on the default settings. The graphics in WoW are nothing to be amazed about, so the difference between default and high are nothing to get excited about. That's just what i think :)

The 320M and core 2 in the mac mini are definitely a little faster than my laptop. That why i figure he should be fine.
