Everyones thoughts?
Well, I hate to say it but you get what you pay for.
Uhg, laptops can be such a pain. I bought a Dell Inspiron 1520 and I love it. Whereas my fiancee bought a VAIO, and I dont know how she types on it. Her laptop drives me crazy to use, the keyboard is terrible!
However I spent over $3000 on mine, and she spent less than $900. There is a difference in what we have on both. My computer runs loads of games and programs with no problem; but hers lags from playing Robokill.
If I were you, I think my plan of action would be to return it if your really not happy. If they give you trouble, raise hell with 'em. Yeah doing that sounds bad, but how unhappy with that laptop are you? Is there a chance that you will get used to it over time
or just hate it even more?
Macs are terrible in my opinion, for one I think they are overpriced. And HP's are awful for hardware.
Shiny screens are the chief design flaw in laptops today (IMO). Its why I ordered my Dell with a matte finish (no glare) screen, and no extra charge for it. If you want a good computer then try to get one custom made. Most custom manufacturers can make a cheaper computer while still providing the options you want and need.
For a different laptop in the future try Sager or Dell. Both should accommodate your needs for lower cost and a better machine. Both use good parts and will include options that you
can not get from the
local outlet mall computer store.
