Mac or Windows?

Go with a MacBook Pro and use Bootcamp to dual boot OS X and windows.

This is my respond to your question too.

I really need a good computer for graphic work and video, but I am saving my money for an iMac 24" 3gb ram, and then I can have both of them.
I need windows because Aftereffects works better on windows and has dozens more plugins,
I need Mac because I use Motion and Final Cut(I also want to learn other Apple pro products)

so save your money and get a good Macbook Pro and have both Windows and Mac os X. After a while you will understand which one is the right choice for you.

Why use after effects when you can use Final Cut studio on a Mac? does everything and more and is quickly becoming more on an industry standard over adobe products.
