Mac OS X Alternative? Read Description for more info, please.

I had a Mac, but it died, and I don't have enough money to buy a new one. I was just wondering if there is another operating system that is similar or the same as Mac OS X that can run Mac apps like iPhoto and iTunes. Just wondering. Is there?

itunes works on Windows, iphoto not so sure, but Picasa 3 is a good alternative.

A few I'd recommend would be:

Windows 7
Linux - ubuntu (Free)
Windows XP

iTunes isn't available for Linux. But I think there are alternatives to iTunes.
