Mac OSX

lo no im fine with XP that looks like mac OSX. i was just wondering about the advantages of the real thing. i dont think i will ever buy a mac. not really my thing lol.

yeah you don't want to spend big $$$ on it, but if we had it here i would definitely get one.

ok thanks.

well ill stick with xp and a transformation. less messing around

I have a mac and a windows computer and can i just say There would be MUCH less messing around with a mac computer than a windows computer. They are very simple and easy to use and maintain unlike a windows computer.

As for compatability, I cant think of a single thing that a PC can do that a mac cant. With a mac there is nearly always equivalent software for that of windows.

If you are intrested in installing Mac OSX on a PC may i suggest you look in to OSX86, a project that lets you installed a modified OSX operating systems on PC's.

no it's not that you're a mac noob, mac has many software for it and a few decent games.
But there are some software which runs strictly on Mac not osX86, an example is ilife, unless you had name of software withheld** installed you wont be able to install ilife and other games.
not giving out illigal info but just pointing out

cheers

and what makes you say that ?
what if i now say Pc wasn't made for PROFESSIONAL VIDEO EDITING ?
oh yeah final cut express and Final cut studio...hmmm, pc don't have that, see what i mean.
ok no debates but please accept mac as it is for once and stop looking for a reason or something it can't do..... :P:P:D

why I'm sayin that is because there aren't as many games for mac as there are for pc correct? and I'm not tryin to start a debate I'm just tryin to figure some things out

anyway there may be nothing a mac cant do but like when i look for software and stuff the mac version is usually not the highest version. i cant really explai it and im probably wrong. but anyway.
