hi yal!

im looking for a mac thats about $400. i have been looking at powerbooks, but i would except any mac that has a 1.5 GHz g4 processor or higher, and 512 mb of RAM. i want to buy it and then install mac OSX 10.5 Leopard on it.

if you know of a good site that is selling them, or have one for sale please let me know.

i am sorry but i think you have to have 100 posts to post for sale or wanted items. i could be wrong tho
 
You maybe will be able to buy one for $400 that is decent, but it will be unlikely a laptop. If you check either ebay or craigslist as oregon said then you might find a good deal on a second hand mac. Good luck!

Good luck finding a powerbook or ibook for that much with those specs. You might find one in the Mhz range for that much. I'd probably recommend 1 gig of ram as well if your planning on using leopard.
Definitely check out craigslist or even ebay. You might sign up on a Mac forum as well and have some luck finding one.
