Macbook Air M1 or M2?

Hi All,

I am using a Dell laptop right now which is bit old and I am planning to upgrade. Hoping to buy a Macbook Air(Not M3 Air).
I am confused whether to go with M1 Air or M2 Air.
I am a normal user and my requirements are web browsing, watching football, movies etc. I have never used an apple device before but I like the fact that Apple laptops offer 8-10 hours battery backup on a single charge, amazing display and brilliant performance. I know that Apple has stopped selling M1 Air but is available via other stores. Kindly advise with the latest price in USA if you have any info. I am not in USA right now but I have connections in USA to buy and ship. Thank You.

A lot of other laptops offer that level of battery performance now. That's not an Apple exclusive feature.

I would recommend the M2. But it will depend on the price you can find.
