Macbook or Macbook Pro

a pc for the same price will perform better, load ubuntu and even betterer, and then you can also play any game, on mac there is a very limited selection.
 
An eMachine? Don't think so. Thats the worse one on the market and junk.
Nice if ya want cheap..
 
The mac book it's dis continued, so unless you get a used one, it's not an option. The macbook pro it's the one you want regardless
 
if you plan on getting either, spring for applecare, their CS is among the best if something fails on it. but if your gaming...get the mac pro, if your simply working on it doing Wordprocessing and some movie watching...macbook.

Those two macs he posted will play about the same in games, and in both cases way below average performance.

Also, getting an extended warranty is entirely personal preference. In my opinion all of them are waste of money. If I got the impression my high end product would die within 3 years I just wouldn't buy it.

I would not buy either if gaming was the intention. If I wanted a Mac though I would go pro. I have never bought a warranty cause like you said you buy a high end PC they will last and on the other note if you are buying a lower end pc the money wasted on it just put towards the PC purchase and get a higher end computer,
